Ice-breaker

On Sunday 6 June, all the participants are invited to a welcome cocktail that will be held at the Cloister ("Chiostro") of Santa Croce in Fossabanda convent.

Excursion

On Wednesday 9 June, there will be a one-day field trip focusing on the marble quarries and geology of the inner portion of the northern Apennine. We will go to the Apuan Alps, few tens of kilometres north of Pisa, where Michelangelo acquired the white marble for his masterpieces and where the extraction techniques have "sculpted" the landscape since ancient times.

Social dinner

On Thursday 10 June, the Cloister of the Opera Primaziale Pisana, located in Piazza dei Miracoli, will host the social dinner during which participants will enjoy typical Tuscanian dishes and a wonderful view of the leaning Tower.
